From New Year's Eve dinners and parties, to New Year's Day fitness movements, here's what is going on in Boca Raton and Delray Beach as we get ready to welcome 2017.
New Year's Eve
End 2016 on a high note by completing a 10K or 5K. The race begins on A1A at Spanish River Park. Registration is open through Dec. 29 (for students) or through Dec. 30 for everyone else.

Ring in the new year with an oceanfront dining experience by chef Joe Bonavita Jr. Options include coconut lobster topped with sweet chili sauce and fresh Florida wahoo crudo, Hudson Valley duck with crispy foie gras, pumpkin-spiced ravioli, and olive oil-poached halibut. The regular menu will also be available.

Enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu at this eclectic Delray restaurant, with alternative rock/funk music by Spidercherry.

New Year's Day
So the big NYE celebration is behind you. Now it’s time to fuel up with brunch foods galore. Tucker Duke's revamped Sunday brunch menu includes Cinn-a-bon Waffles; buttermilk pancakes with toasted coconut and boozy fruit; and chimichangas with chorizo, scrambled eggs and tater tots.

Start off 2017 with the biggest free yoga class South Florida has seen. With more than 1,500 people in attendance last year, expect a large turnout, and enjoy music from DJ Drez, a 75-minute yoga session, and a shopping marketplace of yoga products and gifts.
