Now You’ll Be Able To Shop At The Delray GreenMarket Over The Summer

For the first time since its inception 19 years ago, the Delray GreenMarket—one of South Florida’s favorite farmers markets—will take place during the summer months.

The inaugural Summer GreenMarket will launch June 20 and run through Sept. 26 at the Delray Beach Tennis Center (the eastern half). It will take place Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon, so customers can beat the heat.

The Community Redevelopment Agency, which runs the market, wanted to fill the need for local produce and goods during the summer.

“The request has really come from the community,” GreenMarket manager Lori Nolan said.

At the Delray GreenMarket, Palm Beach County vendors sell fresh picked citrus and juice, eggs, raw milk and butter, locally raised meats, artisan baked goods and more.

About 30 to 35 vendors have signed on to sell their farm-fresh produce throughout the summer.

The market is expected to return to its usual spot at Old School Square Park in October.
