Pizzacraft Is Opening In Downtown Fort Lauderdale, And The Restaurant Will Feature A Secret Cocktail Bar
A new pizza restaurant is looking to bring a saucy new flair to your average pie.
JEY Hosptiality Group’s newest venture, Pizzacraft, is set to open in downtown Fort Lauderdale this October.
Using local and seasonal items, the restaurant wants to marry modern ingredients with “old world” technique to create pizzas that are “outside-the-box.”
Selections include a carbonara pizza that features béchamel, a roasted farm egg and parmigiano reggiano, and a nueske bacon pizza with fingerlings, carved aged gruyere cheese and caramelized onion.
Pasta dishes, small plates and Italian treats will also be offered. Options include homemade ricotta with truffle honey and a giant “prime” meatball with whipped ricotta and local torn basil.
Pizzacraft will also feature a large outdoor terrace and a secret cocktail bar in its back room, according to the restaurant’s Instagram account. The bar will have its own entrance and dress code, the South Florida Business Journal reports.
JEY Hospitality Group—the company behind South Florida restaurants like ROK:BRGR, Himmarshee Public House, Primo’s Italian Kitchen and Tacocraft—has been working on Pizzacraft for more than four years, co-founder Marc Falsetto said.
“It was actually in the pipeline before Public House and Tacocraft, but we were just waiting for the right opportunity and space,” he said. “We felt now was the right time.”
Pizzacraft will be located at 330 SW 2nd St., Suite 101, Fort Lauderdale
