Places To Eat On Valentine's Day In Fort Lauderdale

Forget the cards, the flowers and the jewelry—everyone knows the best part of Valentine's Day is that decadent meal for two. 

Luckily, there are plenty of Fort Lauderdale restaurants offering delicious specials sure to satisfy any palate—whether you're in the mood for a romantic seafood dinner or an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with your best friend.

Here's what's on the menu for the weekend of Feb. 14:


III Forks

At this Hallandale spot, the Valentine’s specials start early. From Feb. 6 through Feb. 14, couples can enjoy the special “Sweetheart Menu,” which includes options like lobster bisque, filet mignon, lobster tails, whipped potatoes and more. Of course, there will be chocolate for dessert. Dinner is $160 per couple. Featured sparkling selections include Chandon Brut ($15 by the glass), Gruet Blanc de Noir ($12 by the glass, $38 by the bottle) and Schramsberg Blanc de Blanc ($70 a bottle).

Alfiere’s Mediterranean Bistro

This Westin Fort Lauderdale restaurant is all about romance for Valentine’s Day. Diners can begin their evening with a flute of sparkling wine paired with Serrano ham and melon, and then indulge in dishes like heart-shaped ravioli, chilled cucumber soup, pan-seared filet of salmon, and a creme caramel with rose syrup. BlueFire Grille

Head to the signature restaurant at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott North for a romantic dinner for two on Feb. 13 or Feb. 14. Burlock Coast

This Prohibition Era-inspired restaurant on Fort Lauderdale Beach will be offering a four-course, prix fixe menu with options including oysters three ways, diver scallops, wild boar tenderloin, sea bass, filet mignon and more. End the meal with a chocolate and strawberry decadence buffet. The special, priced at $135 per person, will be available Feb. 14 from 5 p.m. through 10 p.m.

Hardy Park Bistro

Enjoy a relaxed evening with delicious food at this neighborhood bistro. Start you meal with cauliflower soup with forest mushrooms or the burrata with carrots, arugula pesto, basil and thyme. For the main course, enjoy options like the braised lamb shank with parsnip puree, grilled pork belly with crisp pig ear, and Thai green curry.

Head to the iconic Riverside Hotel on Las Olas for a love song-inspired prix fixe menu for couples ($100) or a la carte options for individuals. Dishes include the “Bittersweet Symphony” (battered and fried braised duck legs with a rosemary red velvet waffle), “Center of the Universe” (beef Wellington served with sundried tomato and potato gratin) and “I Melt With You” (dark chocolate espresso panna cotta with chocolate mousse and chocolate-filled strawberries). Diners choosing the prix fixe menu will also received a box of handcrafted chocolates.

Located at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Kuro will be celebrating romance all weekend long with a Valentine’s menu that includes seared scallops with daikon nanban sauce and wasabi salsa ($36); stone crab claws chilled with sauces or tempura with karashi su miso and shiso aioli ($25-45 / 2pc); and tuna tartare with avocado and caviar ($28). End on a sweet note with a decadent chocolate-covered strawberry that’s anything but ordinary ($14). Specials run Feb. 12 through Feb. 14.

Shooters Waterfront

Make this Valentine’s Day one to remember with a five-course dinner and panoramic views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Events by Grateful Palate will be hosting two dinner seatings at its venue at Shooters Waterfront. Menu items include smoked scallops, seared beef carpaccio, lobster tail, ribeye, and a white and dark chocolate cheesecake. Cost is $99 per person for inside seating, or $125 per person for dockside seating. Menu is available Feb. 12 through Feb. 14. Call 954.566.3044 for reservations. 

For a more laid-back meal, try the surf and turf chef’s special at Shooters Waterfront, available Feb. 12 through Feb. 14. The full dinner menu will also be available. Prefer to celebrate with girlfriends? Head to brunch at the venue between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. throughout the weekend for an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet ($26) and bottomless bloody marys and mimosas ($20).

The Tuck Room

Drive south, and treat yourself to a little bottle service at this snazzy lounge next door to the new iPic theater in North Miami Beach. The Rose Petal Liquid Nitrogen Bottle Service includes Grey Goose presented in a smoking, deep chill bucket, garnished with fresh red rose petals and edible flowers. Mixers include homemade ginger beer, passion fruit puree, pineapple juice, and fresh strawberries and raspberries. The special, which runs Feb. 12 through Feb. 14, begins with a welcome toast of Francois Montand brut rose. Cost is $100.

Wild Sea Oyster Bar & Grille

Home of one of the best burgers in Fort Lauderdale, this Las Olas spot will be serving up a special Valentine’s menu from Feb. 12 through Feb. 14. Options include pork belly and scallops, lamb osso bucco, seared duck breast and a dessert that’s perfect for chocoholics.

Windridge Yachts

OK, so this isn't technically a restaurant, but who can say no to dining on a yacht? Couples can enjoy a incredible brunch or dinner buffet as they coast down the Intracoastal Waterway on Valentine's Day weekend. Brunch options include seasonal fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, roasted chicken breast, and New York strip loin, while dinner options include arugula salad, braised beef short ribs, red velvet cake and chocolate truffles. Cruises include a complimentary glass of champagne for guests 21 and over. Price is $69.90 for brunch or $99.90 for dinner.
