Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino To Hold James Beard Benefit Dinner At Kuro
In partnership with the James Beard Foundation, Kuro at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will host its third annual Friends of James Beard Benefit on March 2.
The collaborative dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will feature a five-course dinner prepared by Alex Q. Becker, Kuro’s creative culinary director, and James Beard Award-winning chef Stephanie Izard.
Ted Allen, host of Food Network’s "Chopped" and "Chopped Junior," will be the emcee of the evening. Following the dinner, guests will be able to participate in a Q&A with Becker and Izard about the meal.
Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the James Beard Foundation’s National Scholars program, which provides scholarships of $20,000 to culinary candidates. Ten candidates from across the country are selected each year for the program.
