The SIX13 Luxury Apartment Building Approved For Construction In Fort Lauderdale
With growth comes change, and South Florida is certainly growing.
High demands for new apartment buildings and retail locations are prevalent in Fort Lauderdale, and Affiliated Development has taken notice.
On June 6 the Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) approved $7 million in funding to Affiliated Development for The SIX13—a mixed-use development project featuring 142 apartment units, 206 parking garage spaces and 8,300 square feet of ground-level retail space.
The SIX13 is part of the redevelopment efforts happening in the historic Sistrunk neighborhood near Progresso Village and will be designed by Rinka Chung Architecture.
The building will offer luxury amenities such as a rooftop pool deck, community room, fitness center and concierge service. Its location is also only two blocks away from the Brightline Hub.
Starting rental prices for the apartment units will be around $1,100 per month for a one-bedroom unit. Construction for The SIX13 will begin in 2018 and will take approximately 18 months to complete.
