During South Beach Wine & Food Festival's Taste Fort Lauderdale Series This Week, Meet Robert Irvine, Cast Of 'Chopped' And More

If you spot a Food Network star hanging around your favorite Fort Lauderdale restaurant this week, don't be surprised. With South Beach Wine and Food Festival kicking off Wednesday, expect to see celebrity chefs, endless food and drink events, and more. 

The 15th annual event will run from Feb. 24 through Feb. 28,  and this year, the inaugural Taste Fort Lauderdale Series will bring "Restaurant: Impossible" host Robert Irvine, the cast of "Chopped," and other stars to Broward County for a series of eight exclusive events happening at top restaurants and resorts in the area. 

Though coveted tickets to the Taste Fort Lauderdale Series kick-off party with chef Irvine are already sold out, there's still time to purchase seats to one of several collaborative, multi-course dinners put on by teams of award-winning chefs. Tickets are available at sobefest.com.

Join us in Fort Lauderdale as two progressive chefs host an evening sure to expand your culinary borders. Hosted by celebrity chef Justin Warner, Kuro executive chef Alex Becker and DJ Felix Da Housecat, the New Style Remix dinner fuses a live DJ mix with new-style Japanese cuisine for an exclusive dinner, a luxe and socially vibrant fine dining restaurant at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. Guests will be taken on a multi-sensory journey that pairs an eclectic music soundtrack with a multi-course dinner taking diners through the breadth of Kuro’s family-style kaiseki menu, starting with chilled dishes, traveling through tempura, robata, land and sea, and concluding with sushi and dessert. Kuro Late Night featuring DJ Felix Da Housecat

After dinner, the party continues from 10 p.m. to midnight at Kuro’s bar and lounge and poolside patio with Kuro small bites, dessert and complimentary signature Kuro cocktails as DJ Felix Da Housecat spins into the evening.

 

Bloody Mary Brunch hosted by the Cast of "Chopped"

The cast of "Chopped" is headlining this Taste Fort Lauderdale Series brunch overlooking the pristine beaches just outside The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale.
