Tortuga Music Festival On Fort Lauderdale Beach Expands To 3 Days, And Discounted Early Bird Tickets Go On Sale Friday
When Fort Lauderdale's favorite country music festival returns in 2016, the beachside party will last three whole days.
Set to take place from April 15 to April 17, the 2016 Tortuga Music Festival will feature headliner Blake Shelton and more than 30 country, rock and roots music artists performing on the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. The complete lineup will be announced soon.
After a sell-out weekend in 2015, HUKA Entertainment, which produces Tortuga, extended the 2016 festival dates in response to the artists and fans who have expressed what a unique event Tortuga has become.
“We’re thrilled to be in the position to offer fans an extra day and more Tortuga-time on the sand,” HUKA's A.J. Niland said in a press release.
A limited number of discounted early bird tickets go on sale Friday at tortugamusicfestival.com. The pre-sale begins at 10 a.m., and a four-ticket purchase limit will be in effect.
During this time, three-day general admission passes will cost $179 each. Three-day VIP passes are $679, and three-day Super VIP tickets are $1,149.
