Tour Basketball Star Scottie Pippen's $11.8 million Fort Lauderdale home
Basketball legend Scottie Pippen, 48, still hopes his Fort Lauderdale waterfront mansion will sell for $11.8 million.
The former Chicago Bulls forward put his venetian-style, 13,500-square-foot home originally on the market in 2010 at $16 million.
Pippen and wife Larsa, a former "Real Housewives of Miami" star, bought the property, 2571 Del Lago Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, for $1.3 million in 2000 and built the six bedroom-nine bathroom manse four years later.
The three-fourths of an acre home has a three-story foyer with a replica Michelangelo Sistene Chapel mural on the ceiling, chilled wine room, club and home theater all among ornate interiors with marble floors.
The outside includes an expansive terrace overlooking the 215 feet of private waterfront, various patios, an outdoor kitchen, lagoon-style pool area with a spa, waterfalls, water fountain play area and a giant water slide. Though, the biggest selling point for the six-time NBA champion’s home is the waterfront basketball court.
The property is available for tour reservations at zillow.com.
