UberEats Is Now Available In Fort Lauderdale, So Broward Locals Can Order Food Delivery To Their Doors
Now Fort Lauderdale locals can order Tap 42 burgers and New York Grilled Cheese sandwiches to their doors using UberEats.
The new food delivery service, which works on a standalone app separate from Uber, launched in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday, Oct. 19. UberEats plans to expand coverage throughout the rest of Broward County in the coming weeks.
More than 70 Fort Lauderdale area restaurants will be offering delivery through the app, including Spring Chicken, American Social, New York Grilled Cheese and Tap 42. There's a flat-rate delivery fee of $4.99, but, much like with Uber, there's no need to tip (though you're more than welcome to).
UberEats has already been available in Hallandale, Hollywood and Dania Beach since July, when the cities were included in the app's initial South Florida launch from Miami up to south Broward.
Expanded service will now stretch across Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and Oakland Park. Delivery will extend as far as Atlantic Boulevard to the north and the Florida Turnpike to the west.
Service will be available from 8 a.m. until midnight seven days a week, though the restaurant selection will vary according to each eatery's individual operating hours.
Here are a few other top restaurants in the Fort Lauderdale area that will be featured on UberEats:
Agave Taco Bar
Angelo Elia The Bakery Bar
Angelo Elia Pizza
Bokamper's Sports Bar & Grill
Bubbles & Pearls
Cibo Wine Bar
Colada Cuban Coffee House & Eatery
