Valentino Cucina Italiana's New Happy Hour Specials Include Tapas Plates To Be Featured On One Door East Menu
Valentino Cucina Italiana in Fort Lauderdale is launching a new happy hour that will give guests a taste of the owner's next restaurant project.
Starting Monday, patrons can enjoy two-for-one drink specials and a selection of five tapas that will be served at One Door East, a tapas-style restaurant influenced by Italian, Spanish and Moroccan cuisines. It's scheduled to open in the fall.
The deals will be offered every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m until Sept. 14.
For $15, patrons can preview all five of Chef Giovanni Rocchio's new tapas plates: duck confit bao buns, seafood paella, lamb meatballs, a lobster roll and gourmet chicken wings.
The two-for-one specials apply to craft cocktails—such as the Ruby Italiana (grapefruit vodka, Aperol, limoncello, OJ and prosecco) and Lavender Spice (tequila, lime juice, jalapeño-infused Cointreau Noir and violet liqueur), which are $14 each—and other select liquor brands.
Valentino already hosts a Nightcap Happy Hour Thursday through Saturday night from 10 p.m. to close.
