Victoria's Secret Former Catalog President Auctions off Caribbean Estate
Listed at $13.8 million, 20 Princess Isle, the luxurious Caribbean estate of David T. Kollat, will be undergoing a real estate auction held without reserve on May 14.
Kollat, who is the former president of the Victoria's Secret Catalog and former executive vice president of marketing for L Brands, will be auctioning off his beautiful oceanfront estate through Concierge Auctions.
“In the fashion business, the primary focus is always on design and attention to detail. Here, we created not only a beautiful home but a relaxed and quiet place where one could reflect and create,” Kollat says.
Located just 75 miles off the Florida coast in the exclusive Freeport area of Grand Bahama Island, 20 Princess Isle sits on 1.44 acres of land and includes 150 feet of private beach frontage.
The property, which is being auctioned off fully furnished, includes custom Ralph Lauren furniture, framed prints from Picasso, Warhol and other world-renowned artists, a Baldwin baby grand piano, a game room with a Brunswick billiards table, twin fireplaces and a heated lip pool that overlooks the lawn and ocean.
The 20 Princess Isle estate is also an ode to 1920s Mediterranean and Spanish scenery.
The lush landscape throughout the property includes Cuban and coconut palms, gumbo limbo and sea grape trees, oleander, hibiscus and silver and green buttonwoods.
Previews of the property will be conducted by appointment on April 24 between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. A public preview of the property will be held that same day from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The auction will take place on May 14 at Trump SoHo in New York City. For more information on the auction, contact Concierge Auctions at 212.257.5018.
