Wayne Huizenga's Fort Lauderdale $27 Million Estate To Sell Without Reserve
The 20,623-square-foot, $27 million estate belonging to late businessman and entrepreneur Wayne Huizenga is being sold without reserve, meaning it will be sold to the highest bidder.
Huizenga founded AutoNation and Waste Management and was the co-owner of the Miami Dolphins, Panthers and Marlins, as well as a co-founder of Blockbuster Video.
The Mediterranean-style estate sits on 1.41 acres with Fort Lauderdale skyline views, alongside nearly 600 feet of riverfront space that is able to fit a mega yacht up to 135 feet. Among its luxury amenities include a resort-style pool; gym; workshop; billiards room; theater; staff office; multiple safe rooms; kitchen with a wood-burning pizza oven, separate caterer’s kitchen; and French-inspired glass conservatory.
The fully furnished estate will be sold without reserve through Concierge Auctions starting on March 26, and bidding ends March 28. It will sell in cooperation with Billy Nash of Nash Luxury at The Keyes Company.
As well as this, a 17,350-square-foot waterfront estate built on property once owned by Huizenga will also sell through Concierge Auctions starting April 9 at $36.25 million, with bidding closing April 12. The estate is selling Without Reserve alongside Katrina Campins of The Campins Company.
Known as Bella Fortuna, the private private Las Olas estate is situated on an elevated peninsula by downtown Fort Lauderdale. The 27-room estate includes five-bedroom suites with private balconies; a gym; panic room; massage room; yoga room; and two home offices.
Among its outdoor amenities are a saltwater pool; kitchen; an area to build a tennis/basketball court, golf putting green; space for a two-bedroom guest suite; 750 feet of water frontage; as well as 350 feet of dockage to lodge a mega yacht.
