“Birdies for Birch” Golf Tournament Benefits 180-Acre Nature Park - Thursday, April 26, 2018
The Friends of Birch State Park, Inc. are hosting their 2nd Annual “Birdies for Birch” Golf Tournament on Thursday, April 26th beginning with registration and lunch at 11:30 a.m. followed by a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. The tournament takes place at Fort Lauderdale Country Club, 415 East Country Club Circle, Fort Lauderdale. Proceeds from “Birdies for Birch” will benefit the Friends of Birch State Park, whose mission is to preserve, conserve, enhance and promote the 180-acre gem left to the state by naturalist Hugh Taylor Birch.
This fun-filled fundraising and friend-raising event features contests, prizes, auction, great food, drinks and premium goody bag items. The stars of the park’s live animal program – juvenile tortoises, snakes and even a baby alligator – will be featured in the tournament’s foursome photos.
