The Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County Hosts the 6th Annual “FUTURE TASTES GREAT” IRON CHEF COMPETITION
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County (BGCBC) will host the 6th Annual Future Tastes Great Iron Chef Competition on Saturday, November 22, 2014, 6:30 p.m., at Hugh’s Culinary in Oakland Park. This fun and unique fundraiser, sponsored by, The Offield Family Foundation, McDonald Family Foundation, Mr. Steve Parnell, Leo Goodwin Foundation, and Mr. Peter Woolf will raise the necessary funds to operate the Boys & Girls Clubs’ Culinary Arts Program which is conducted at the Leo Goodwin Foundation Teen Center at the Levine/Slaughter Boys & Girls Club in North Lauderdale. The Culinary Arts program is just one of the many specialized Career Exploration Programs that are available for Boys & Girls Club teen members to help introduce them to alternative career opportunities.

Participating chefs include the executive chefs from: Sette Bello Restaurant, Oceans 234, Tokyo Blue, Chef Lenore Nolan Ryan Cooking School, Beauty & The Feast and Healthy Cooking by Barbara. Participating chefs will treat the guests to an array of delectable delights. Participating chefs will be given the same ingredients and then judged in a cook-off. Guests will also enjoy a full buffet dinner in addition to libations, live entertainment and a silent auction.
