Deliver the Dream's 4th annual Red Hot and In Style event is back and ready to sizzle on Thursday, March 5, 2015, and set to raise money for families in need!
Deliver the Dream, a South Florida-based nonprofit that organizes retreats for families experiencing a serious illness or crisis, will host its 4th annual Red Hot and In Style event featuring some of South Florida’s most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes.
On Thursday, March 5, these philanthropists of all ages, backgrounds and at the top of their careers in various professional fields will be unveiled at SOHO Venue in Hollywood.
To celebrate the new venue this year, the event has embraced a different theme – The White Party – and is highly encouraging all guests to come dressed in white. Guests will have an opportunity to meet the elite group of men and women, who will be featuring date packages, such as concert tickets, outdoor adventure packages, tickets to exciting sporting events and much more. While enjoying a variety of delectable heavy hors d’oeuvres and top shelf open bar cocktails everyone will also be able to peruse the variety of silent auction items.
The event begins at 6:30PM. Tickets are $75 until March 5 and $100 at the door – based on availability.
Planning Committee members include co-chairs Michelle Wihbey and Nikki Joffe, along with James Avello, Danielle Baer, Gena Bofshever, Miranda Burnham, Adam Davis, Bradley Deckelbaum, Kelly Phillips, Michael Jacobs, Danielle Kaye, Natali Levine, Noel Mauro, Jillian Rosen and Morgan Spector.
Event sponsors include Forte Properties, City Furniture, Greenspoon Marder, The Rubin Group, Twilight Features, Inc., The Miami Dolphins and Gold Coast Fort Lauderdale.
Proceeds from the event will help Deliver the Dream continue to bring as many as 15 families together at each monthly retreat. Each family that attends has a member - whether it’s a child or parent living with an illness such as Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, Autism, HIV/AIDS, Down Syndrome or Cerebral Palsy. Retreats allow families to relax, enjoy time together, forge new friendships and create support groups with other families in similar circumstances. When one person in a family is sick, the entire family is impacted and there are very few organizations nationwide that focus on the whole family unit like Deliver the Dream. The 501 (c)(3) program serves these families and helps them to enhance coping skills, reduce stress and cultivate relationships with other families by combining traditional recreational activities with therapeutic workshops, peer-to-peer discussion groups and expressive arts and music activities. The retreats are provided at no cost to participants.
