Junior Achievement’s Circle of Wise Women host the 7th Annual JA World Uncorked + Crafted presented by Breakthru Beverage Florida benefiting Junior Achievement of South Florida, Inc.

The Uncorked + Crafted Experience will take place on Saturday, January 21st 2017 from 6:30 to 10:30pm at the JA World Huizenga Center at Broward College located at 1130 Coconut Creek Blvd, Coconut Creek, FL 33066. Last year’s event netted just under $200,000.00 directly benefiting the programs at Junior Achievement of South Florida.

Celebrating its seventh year with 750+ expected guests, Uncorked + Crafted features notable chefs throughout south Florida, wine and spirits provided by Breakthru Beverage Florida, and craft beer selections highlighting Oakland Park’s Funky Buddha Brewery. This year Uncorked gets Crafted as we feature the art of the craft cocktail throughout the event.  Dessert Bash returns with a craft coffee experience. Additionally, this year’s event will honor past Chairs Lynne McGrath and Taylor McGrath and honorary Chef Chairs Marc Gruverman and Wes Bonner.

“When we envisioned this event seen years ago, we focused on creating a program free event,” says Renée Quinn, Circle founding member and past Uncorked chair. “We designed it so guests didn’t have to sit at tables or listen to people speak. There is no formal program, which is rare for a charity. The money we raise directly affects a child in our community,” Quinn adds. “We touch every single fifth and eighth grader in the county. We definitely do what we say we are doing.”

Founded in 2010, the Circle of Wise Women are an independent volunteer group of educational advocates who believe they can affect positive changes in students’ attitudes, performance, and their future outlook. Wise Women understand the need to transform how students view the world of work, personal finance, free enterprise and their own potential for success. The Circle of Wise Women launched their annual JA World Uncorked event in 2010, and have raised over $3,000.000.00 for the educational programs at Junior Achievement South Florida, Inc. over the last six years.

Circle Member,  past Uncorked chair and Jeroboam partner Rose Faraone says, “Children are our future and it is our responsibility to give them the best foundation and education possible to assure their success. Funds raised through JA World Uncorked assist Junior Achievement of South Florida in making that possible.”

Tickets are $150 and are available now at http://www.jaworlduncorked.com/tickets-sponsorships. Complimentary valet is provided to all guests. UBER/Lyft or Red Cap services are recommended. Net proceeds benefit the educational programs and Summer Camp at Junior Achievement of South Florida.
