Farm-to-Table Fresh Menus Served at Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar

Menus that stay the same get boring. Sure, it’s easy to nail down a restaurant favorite—the pasta dish with that special red sauce or the way chef prepares the sea bass—but in the end, a menu that changes with bold flavor keeps things fresh and fun. Taste the seasons through a beautiful sampling of options at Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar in Delray Beach. It’s the spot where your favorite dish gets an updated spin come each new season.

What’s in Season?

Founder Dave Magrogan of the Pennsylvanian-based Dave Magrogan Group opened his first Harvest Seasonal Grill location outside of the Northeast in December, while keeping one important mantra consistent: “Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food.”

“The Harvest menu is sourced from local farmers each season to bring out the best flavors at the right time of year,” Magrogan says. “We focus on sourcing organic, non-GMO, pesticide and antibiotic-free ingredients.”

It’s a concept that’s apparent before walking through the front doors. The harvest-centric eatery has its own outdoor garden space near the patio where fresh herbs are grown and works with more than 10 local farms to bring in ingredients that transform the cuisine every three months.

With most menu items 500 calories or less, it’s hard to go wrong when choosing a lunch, dinner or weekend brunch item. There are several knockouts, including Harvest’s take on avocado artichoke dip, made with organic yogurt, Tuscan kale and roasted red pepper oil served with herbed Naan chips and black lava salt.

The wood-fire grilled swordfish (crab and artichoke salad, heirloom cherry tomatoes, Meyer lemon juice, watercress and roasted fingerling potatoes) and the quinoa fried green tomato wrap are additional dishes worth considering. You’ll be in foodie heaven after just one bite of the quinoa-encrusted tomato topped with avocado, radish and a lemon garlic crème fraîche.

Don’t leave without sampling one of the dessert-in-a-shot-glass options. Chocolate salted caramel mousse, blueberry lemon corn cake and peanut butter cup are available flavors and the right size for eating alone or to share a bite, if willing.

Plus, Harvest Seasonal Grill offers organic wines by the glass, beer and specialty libations made with seasonally rotating fruits and herbs.
