Summer nights just got a lot more exciting thanks to the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens Sushi & Stroll Summer Walk Series, presented by JM Lexus. Offered on select Fridays beginning May 12, the series allows guests to enjoy a twilight walk through the 16-acre gardens while enjoying local food truck offerings and a Pan-Asian menu by the museum’s Cornell Café. DELISH 2017

Help break the stigma against those with disabilities at Delish, presented by PNC Bank on May 4 at the Gallery of Amazing Things. Now in its sixth year, this event will pair the best ARC Broward Culinary Institute students with well-known South Florida chefs from restaurants that include 3030 Ocean and Hardy Park Bistro to serve up delicious bites for guests. TASTE OF RECOVERY 

Dine for a great cause during the inaugural Taste of Recovery Culinary Festival on June 3 at Old School Square Pavilion. Louie Bossi, executive chef and partner at Louie Bossi’s Ristorante Bar & Pizzeria, will host the fundraiser to raise money for the Crossroads Club, for those battling substance and alcohol abuse in the restaurant industry. AN INTIMATE CONVERSATION

Meet the man behind Bravo’s late night interactive talk show, “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” on May 12 at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. The night will include a one-hour show featuring a moderated question-and-answer session with the audience, and will conclude with a book signing with the Emmy Award-winning host, producer and author. Immerse yourself in interactive art and culinary goodness during TasteMakers on May 20. Museumgoers can tour Young At Art Museum and enjoy a craft beer garden, food and beverages plus an art showcase featuring works by world-renowned artists. FEMALE BREW FEST 

Celebrate women in the brewing industry at FemAle Brew Fest on May 28 inside FATVillage Art District warehouse building 517. Meet female-run brewers and experts in the craft beer scene while enjoying satisfying pours, artisanal food pairings, live art demos and music. NEW EXPERIENCE 

Time to get crafty! The Boca Raton Museum of Art will allow a select number of guests to go beyond the galleries on May 2 for a behind-the-scenes experience to learn how glass sculptures are made. The day will begin with a guided tour of the Glasstress Boca Raton exhibit, then travel by bus to Lake Worth’s Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts—home to the largest glass hot shop in Florida—for a tour and a glass-blowing demonstration.
